Our Story
It all started in a small kitchen in Brooklyn, New York. Our founder, a lifelong cooking enthusiast, grew frustrated with the limited selection of affordable cookware on the market. Most options were either cheaply made and didn’t last, or carried premium designer price tags.
He believed everyone deserved access to cookware that could withstand daily use, clean up easily, and enhance recipes – not just those with an expansive budget. And so, Cooks Standard® was born.
In those early days, we started small with just 3 products: a stockpot, fry pan, and saucepan. Word quickly spread among friends and family about the unmatched performance and durability of these pans. Soon, we could barely keep up with demand.
Over the next few years, the company steadily grew as we continued expanding our catalog with new innovations. In 2013 we opened our first office and warehouse to accommodate our inventory. And in the past year, we’ve doubled our team and launched over 100 new products.
